Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how ChessRamp's free trial, cancellations, and refunds work. It forms part of our Terms of Service — section 5 of the Terms states the same policy, and this page restates it in full for easy reference.

1. Free Trial

Every Premium subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. We ask for payment details when you start the trial, but you are not charged during it.

• Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Cancel at any point before the 7-day trial ends and no charge is taken. Your access continues until the trial period expires.

2. Cancellation

• Cancelling stops future charges. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents further renewals; it does not refund the current billing period, and you keep access until that period ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled.
• We may change subscription pricing or plans with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing cycles.

How to cancel: cancel at any time from your account's Subscription page, or email support@chessramp.com and we will cancel it for you. Because Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record, you may also contact Paddle directly about any payment, invoice, or refund enquiry.

3. Refunds

• After the trial, fees are non-refundable. Once the trial ends and your first payment is taken, that payment and any subsequent renewal payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.

Requesting a refund: if you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, email support@chessramp.com with the email address used at checkout and we will review it with Paddle. We aim to respond to every refund enquiry within 5 business days.
